spigen has a cheap one where it has a cutout in the middle of the case where I can stick a magnet to mount the phone.

Thing is.. there isn't full coverage.

Does anyone know if there's full coverage and this specific cutout?

the topic has come up in the cases thread for the 7/7 Plus. the Spigen is the only one anyone knows of. but I have mentioned that I have used those plates in cases that didn't have the space for it.

There's a slight bump which bothers me when I put it in the cases

yeap. you could probably go the bumper route. my search still continues for a fuller coverage one that has the space for the plate. might be a long time though. but regardless, the Spigen one is still my preferred case currently.
I have pics here...

'What case is everyone getting for their iPhone 7/7+?'

I have spare plates coming in today. going to see how they fit in my cases.

In some of the thicker cases, you can't see/feel the bump. I don't know of any others that have that little pocket for the plate. I have that Spigen case and it's pretty nice and it's cheap. I don't stick the plate on the case or the phone. I just put it paper side towards the phone to mitigate any damage and just put the phone in the case. The plate holds its position and works well on the mount. I've used it on several different cases now with no issues.

so spigen meant for that space to be for the metal plate all along? i bought a similar spigen case when i got my 6S. it has the cutout but that cutout doesn't have that text that says "apply metal plate for the...".

about 6 months after that, i picked up one of those magnetic mounts and saw the rectangular plate fit perfectly into that cutout. i thought "huh...that's a a fortunate coincidence!" but it was always meant to be? :D

I'm sure you're just looking for a "back" case but I'll just throw this in for folks that like folio cases and have a magnetic car mount.

This Nouske Leather Flip Folio Wallet Case works well with my magnetic mount. When the cover is flipped to the back for use, the cover sticks magnetically to the back of the iPhone...a feature of the case...so no flopping around. I stuck the metal mount plate to a business card and put it in the inside cover pocket. Holds it well when mounted since it's right up against the magnet. The iPhone holder on the case is TPU so it's not breakable like other folio cases I've had.

they were much thinner than I thought they would be. my Scosche definitely aren't as thin.

if you don't mind can you post some pics of the spigen one? the sides being empty bothers me due to aesthetics and drop protection.

it seems as though they had a spigen thin fit hybrid with the cutout in the case for the 6 model, so hopefully one for the 7 is coming soon.

by the way, i purchased plate and mount off ebay for $0.99. it's just as strong as the spigen one and it looks identical (no branding). wouldn't be surprised if spigen buys these and just prints their logo on them.

do you mean pics of the case? you'll find it in my post #4 earlier in this thread.

I have no experience with the Spigen mounts and plates, but I am picky about my mounts.
