I got this bag, and really like it. But one problem: It doesn't fit my 15" Macbook Pro.

Now I need to return it and get another bag. Looking for something classy (preferably leather, and with no bright colors) that fits my laptop without breaking the bank. Something big enough I can fit the MBP and with a notebook or to to bring to class.

Recommendations?

hey I'm in the market for a murse myself. I was looking at that exact same Kennith Cole bag, but wasn't certain it would fit my 15 MBP. Thanks. I went to the (cr)apple store in Boston but the bags they had were over $150, and most were too metro for my taste. I did almost bite on this one, except i realized that the price was too crazy for something that really doesn't hold much else:

The Knomo bag is a bit too expensive for me. The only bag they have in my price range is this:

I never had a horizontal messenger before and personally, I think they look weird.

This bag makes me drool every time I look at it:

The incase isn't much of a bag, more like a sleeve with handle and strap, like a maxed out waterfield. They even call it a sleeve. There's a canvas bag made by incase that caught my eyes. Though it's made in canvas with a 100 price tag.

I found this few minutes ago:

Looks pretty good, especially for the price. I might jump on this if I can't find any other alternative.

Will do! The only thing I'm not excited about is the yellowish/tan liner...I hope it's more tan than yellow, but I'd still rather have the orange liner as can be seen on the Saxby. Ah well I'll have to see how it goes, I thought blue would be a nice change of pace from the millions of brown/black bags out there while still subdued enough to use in a professional setting.

I'm actually in the market for a canvas, worn-out looking messenger bag that will hold my 15.4" MBP and a few books. I can't reiterate the fact that it has to have a worn-out canvas/corduroy look.

Any suggestions?

Check out Brenthaven - they make really nice bags and aren't very expensive!

I can highly recommend the Muzetto from Waterfield designs. I have a good friend who purchased one last year and I've been green-eyed about it ever since first seeing it.

Although I don't have mine JUST yet, my current Manbag is on the way out after 10 years constant use and I've been looking for replacements.

The nice thing about the Muzetto bags is their build quality and a choice of colours - or lack thereof if you so choose.
