Looking for a combat flight simulator

I used to play ms combat flight simulator on my old 2008 Mac Pro using a dvd and a usb joystick that was fun.
Now I have a 2020 intel iMac and the latest Mac OS and I have access to a usb dvd disk drive but nothing works anymore.
Can anyone please suggest a similar combat flight simulator, either as a download or playable over the internet that would work on my system, and a basic usb joystick that would also be compatible?
I’m not looking to spend a lot of money but it needs to work as smoothly as the old combat flight simulator and let me use a joystick.
