Looking for a font...

I need something similar to Tahoma (in size 11) except that doesn't get grainy at that size like the image below

It's gotta be something with Adium, because if you write with that font and size in text edit it looks fine....hmm.

Isn't Tahoma pretty much the same thing as Verdana?

I suppose the main issue was the very very low % opacity against a light colored background. it looks better against a darker wallpaper/contact list color background and higher % opacity. Oh well. I just made the contact list darker.
