I am looking for a free program that will let you create ringtones for the MAC. Are there any out there?

And it exports straight to iTunes as a ringtone.

Note: GarageBand isn't free, although it comes "free" with consumer Mac models.

EQ and cut off <100hz, normalize to increase "volume"

Then export as AAC, rename *.m4a to *.m4r

Import into iTunes.
