Those TPU cases aren't very hard. They are kind of tacky softy. They do offer decent protection but I would suggest going for something like the griffin Reveal.
I think belkin is working on a clear one and I believe incase is as well. The market is still playing catch up. If nothing else you could get a full body scratch resistant film like the invisible shield or best skin ever. And then get that clear case when it comes out.
