I've got a 1.83 GHz CD Mac mini just lying around that I want to get fixed. Long story short, I was trying to upgrade the RAM in it and got impatient and tried to use a chef's knife to open the case. Well I succeeded in doing so, however I messed this little thing up (circled in red) pretty bad in doing so. (May be a little hard to see, right side, to the right of the heatsink.) I've got it to a point where the machine will boot. Hooray, right?! Well, not so much. Back when I broke the thing (In March of '08) I figured it was useless and I threw a few very important pieces of it away. Basically, this thing. Without it, my mini is basically useless. (I can deal without airport and bluetooth, but everything else I kind of need.) Anyway, to get to the point, I have been looking everywhere for this part, and I can't find it. Anywhere. Does anyone know where in the world I could find this thing? It would almost certainly be cheaper then buying another mac... Thank you.
