    Hello there,

I recently acquired a Macintosh 128k, and when I turn on the machine, I get a symbol of a floppy disc with a question point blinking inside. I believe I need a boot disc to get the unit running. If anybody could please offer me a boot disc, either to purchase or to get for free, I would appreciate it greatly.

    Thank You

Thanks for the advice, guys, and I believe it may help me... No, I do not have a Macintosh system six floppy anywhere, and I really don't know where I will find one... Nor do I have access to any apple computer with which I can write the write kind of floppy.. As I understand, a PC cannot write in the correct format for a macintosh... I am hoping somebody on the forum could offer to sell me a boot disk for this computer...

technically it was the second. The apple lisa predated it by a year or two. it was the very first macintosh however.
