Looking for a mass video converter

Hi, I have about 2GB's worth of mpeg-2 video files and I am looking for a program with a lot of different format options and that can handle a huge amount of files. So if anyone has any ideas they would be much appreciated.

MPEG StreamClip can do batches, and has quite a few formats.

Video conversion, especially to/from MPEG-2, is slow. No real way around it.

HB has only limited formats it can convert to.

Well it shouldn't be on a Mac Pro with 8GB's of RAM. I think there's a system issue here

How long is it taking? IIRC, StreamClip won't take advantage of those extra processors.
