Since MacBook's don't come with SD, Compact Flash, or Memory Stick readers and I'm used to having and using one. I've seen a few at Best Buy and Apple but neither were decent.

Can someone recommend a card reader for this nice new MacBook?

Are you after ExpressCard/34 or USB?

For either (SD), you probably want to make sure they can handle SDHC - not all can.

I have a Sonnet ExpressCard/34 "21-in-1" reader in my 17" UB - it fits flush, handles SDHC, and just about everything else, except for CompactFlash. For that, I have a Delkin.

For USB2 - there's a huge selection, but again, not all support SDHC. I bought an "EDGE" reader. It handles just about everything, including SDHC and CF.

What does "decent" mean? There really isn't much to a card reader these days... most read every format.

A Targus 17-in-1 reader at Wal-mart is like $15. If durability is your thing, get two.
