Whatsapp needs to be updated doesn't work right now with IOS7,could you guys tell me,needs to be free of charge because will be used intenationally.I get charged using Tango too.

What you mean...I've been using whatsapp for years now and even on iOS 7.0.2 ...been working just fine since iOS 7 beta and even launch

Seems like more people want the iOS 7 like design and ringtones than anything else...


Also Whatsapp never allowed "calls" between users, its always been just texting (including audio "notes" as I would call it) and bunch of other features.


If you want Call I would recommend Vonage App (Texting + Calling to other users who are Vonage App users much like Viber but I've been a bigger fan of Vonage because it allows you to call US numbers for Free to users who don't have Vonage and super cheap international calls)

Now that we know that he doesn't like the iOS 6 look it's probably not worth mentioning Viber which does free calls and texts between users, but it also doesn't have a completely iOS 7 look yet either.

I haven't figured out why the look makes such a difference though .

Google Voice? This is what I use when I am overseas for phone calls, I think SMS is also free (over internet rather than using your SMS)

It gives you a "local" number rather than having a user name or similar.

PS- I know the OP mentioned it was from android to iphone, but I was curious what you guys think of facetime audio since that is pretty much free calling over internet to other ios 7 users.

He doesn't like that it still looks like iOS 6, not sure how it affects how it works, but it seems people are worried about what it looks like .
