i want to replace my Tumi Alpha bravo messenger bag, it's a very nice bag but it's been 6 years since I got it and it's starting to show it's age.

What I mostly need is a day to day bag to carry pretty much everything, the bag would be used mostly during the summer time when I use my bike.

Needs to be a big bag because I really do use it for everything from going to lunch to going to grocery store, it will end up carrying a little bit of everything.

Price is not a huge factor, I really want something with great design that looks good and will not break after the first 6 months.

So far after looking at everything I could think of (Chrome, mission and sfbags) my tentative choice is this: https://www.peakdesign.com/product/bags/the-everyday-messenger

Really looks like a fantastic product, my only two issues with it is that it seems to be mostly catered to photographers (of which I am not) and that it is a relatively new company.

Can anyone think of something else that would be better?

I got a customised messenger bag from spreadshirt with logos from elite dangerous on the front, and my contact details in large font at the back.
If you're feeling like getting a bag of your own preference, then they are available from here :

Hello, I'm KaliYoni and I'm a bag addict.

So, here are some more ideas for you:

----------
Design: Cote&Ciel

Bombproof: RedOxx

Rugged, with custom builds available: Timbuk2

Mil-Spec: Mystery Ranch

One Percenters: Arc'teryx, Patagonia

I've had one of these for three years now, and it's still not broken in. Mine is the "thin" model: it sounds like you need the regular or classic briefcase. Saddleback Leather offers a 100 years warranty, and these models can be converted from over the shoulder to backpack quite easily.

Addendum: I just noticed they have a "Laptop Bag" but it's not quite as roomy.

This is my current favorite...
