I need one that has the 'free form select' function in particular. I'm using SketchBookExpress at the moment, but it lacks that one feature that I need.

I'd definitely prefer a free App if there is one.

I have been looking for one for free also. I use the SketchBookCopic, which doesn't have that feature either. It's a CoralDraw, SinCity, type effect,(being able to color a particular item only) As you might already know about, I looked at "FreeHand MX and Macromedia Freehand" that had free form select option, but don't need it as bad as you might.
Most free downloads for this seemed to be for Windows only. If you do find a good free one (please) post it back up for me too. Thanks.:apple:

Thanks for the recommendations guys. I downloaded PaintBrush, but it doesn't seem to have the freeform select feature which is the only feature I need.

I'll try Seashore and Gimp now.

MS Paint alternatives

You can try GIMP if you're looking for a bitmap editor, its similar to Photoshop, or try Inkscape if you're looking for a vector based editor. From what i understand, it's a free vector package similar to Illustrator.

Wow, seashore is actually really good. I've been looking for something like this for a while now.

Does anyone know how to delete PaintShop? normally I just drag an app straight from launchpad to the recycling bin, but that doesn't seem to work.

Thanks again for the recommendations!

Drag from Applications folder to Trash. You can only delete LaunchPad applications directly from LaunchPad if they were downloaded from the MAS.
