looking for a new laptop

hi guys just wondering what your thoughts are im looking for a 13" macbook - love the air but its that screen not being retina thats putting me off - are there rumours of a new AIR or will that be next year now ? or shall i just got for a pro

I wouldn't hold my breath for a new MBA. They have the Macbook now which is even thinner, and might get the market from the Air. Of course you're missing out on the USB-ports, Thunderbolt etc, but not everybody needs that.

My opinion; I'd go for the MBP Retina if it existed when I bought my MBA 2011. The Retina screen is excellent, and the HDMI port, 2x thunderbolt etc is excellent for connectivity (LAN + Monitor + External Harddrive etc)

Sounds like a good choice as long as you don't need the Mac to be super thin. 🙂

I travel with my 15" 2011 MBP for work, and that thing is HEAVY, the 13" Retina is nothing compared to that 😉
