Looking for a one-way or "reply to sender only" group texting app?

As a quick background, I run a golf league and usually have to get some information out to the group on a weekly basis (e.g. somebody can't make it and we need a sub).

What I'm looking for is a either a one-way group texting app or a group texting app where you can specify that replies only get sent to the original sender (i.e. me) and not to the whole group. I have been messing around with TextPlus 4 and it works fine for sending the blast, but then when someone replies it goes to the whole group - which can be annoying when more than 1 or 2 people respond.

Does anyone know of an app with a "reply to sender only" option on a group text? I have seen it in an online group texting solution, but nothing in an app.

Try our Group Text! app (link in signature). Just remember to turn OFF the iPhone settings option named "Group Messaging". This should work for any other group text app, but you should still test ours because it's the best one :D
Beware texts are sent using your mobile carrier so you'll pay them unless you have a flat contract.

Thanks, but yeah, I was looking for one that sends texts via the internet. I use a Google Voice number, so I don't carry a texting plan.

GroupFlier - reply only to sender option

GroupFlier group texting can be set up to reply only to sender. Hit the "[ ]Only the group creator can send messages" option to get exactly what you want. You can setup your group and your messages will go to everyone but any replies go only to you. Try it out! Perfect for your golf group.

    Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

Please let us know how it works; looking at terms and privacy it seems to me you still have to pay the texts and that they may send you some ads messages.
Since they have an API it may be worth a look to integrate in our apps unless the service is sending too much ads.
    Thanks
