OS X 10.5.

I'm looking for an OS X program which allows me to partition and format drives.

Disk Utility doesn't support enough formats, iPartition costs money (I'd rather an alternative), VolumeWorks is a no-go, and GNU/Parted won't install on OS X.

I've got Gparted on a live CD, but I'm really looking for an OS X app.

(Yes, I've Googled).

Gparted does not grow HFS+ partitions, only shrinks them, iPartition can handle nearly all popular partitions except for ext3 and ext4. Keep that in mind if you do wish to buy iPartition. It screwed up my Ubuntu partition because it failed to recognize it. While I was altering my HFS+ and not touching my Ubuntu one, it messed up my ext4 partition.

I contacted Coriolis on this and they stated the current version does not support ext3/ext4 but a future version may. In other words don't use it w/ linux on your drive
