Looking for a photo duplicator app to use on an external HD

I have way too many photos to store them all on my MacBook so I store them all on an external hard drive. Many of the photos on my external HD are duplicates. Can someone please recommend a good program or app - preferably free.

There appears to be conflicting messages about the free'ness of the software. Also the photo duplicate finder comes at a cost - time and processing wise. Take that into consideration if you get frustrated. The FAQ within the dupeGuru software has more information. I'm not trying to push a particular software down people's throats. But when something is advertised as free on the software page and doesn't make any effort to have a "purchase" option on same website I can conclude that is is indeed free.
