Hey everyone!

I have been searching for a cheap PPC refurb project for a while now, but to no avail have I came across any on Craigslist or the likes. Anyone have any suggestions as to where I could find such a project?

Thanks and have a great day (or night, depending where you are from).

eBay? There's lots of old macs you can buy there.

Another place you can go is your local recycling/eWaste center and haul huge truckloads of perfectly fine PCs every day.

I would go on Ebay, but shipping for larger machines is really a pain. Thanks for your recycler advice though, I will go and check them out.

Where in the world are you?

I know in my area in the US it would make sense o reach out to any educational institution... check with eWaste facilities (though sometimes they require you buy multiples at once) or also try Freecycle.

Wegener Media is a great source for parts.

www.shopgoodwill.com has some good project machines.

Okay, thanks for the recommendations! I am from the United States Midwest area. I have a few things to wrap up though concerning the Quicksilver, such as a graphics upgrade, but I may turn to Ebay or some of the sources listed here for a project soon!
