Personally, I've always used The Unarchiver for this sort of thing. It's free and "just works".

I vote Unarchiver. I've used UnRarX and MacPar and Unarchiver is the easiest and most consistent. Of course, I've used the others when I've had a file not cooperate, but rarely do the others work when Unarchiver doesn't.
