I downloaded this app a few years ago, but after upgrading to the iPhone 6, forgot to reinstall it and have been recently trying to find it again. It's an app that allows you to load a photo and create a painting out of it. What's different about this app is that it does not use filters: it recreates the photo using paint strokes. I remember that it had a couple of modes: one did it automatically (with some presets) and another allowed you to paint it yourself, automatically applying the right colors based on the location of the stroke. It's not Waterlogue, but is similar.

Does anyone know what app I'm looking for? I've searched all over and somehow cannot locate it. Thank you in advance!

Have you tried checking your Purchases section in the App Store as previously downloaded apps should be listed there and you might find it that way.

Thanks for the tip. Yes, I've tried that without success. I download a lot of apps, so simply scrolling through them is nearly impossible. I've searched for words like "paint" and similar, but have not located it.

Any other ideas for me? I located a couple of the "paintings" that I created with it and remembered that it gave the option to detect faces and make them more detailed than the rest of the painting. The edges of the painting are typically more white, as the brush strokes don't go all the way to the edge.
