I'm looking for an AirPods Pro 3 case with no separate top part, meaning the top part hinges to the main part if that's even mechanically possible. Just tired of having a case with the sticky-tape getting loose and the top part coming off.

I don't see any sense in a case for a case.
Yeah, I had one with my APP1's because the APP1 didn't have a lanyard attachment. The external case was the only way I could clip it to my gym bag. But the APP3 case has a lanyard loop so.... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I guess you've never dropped your AirPod case and watched your AirPods fly out and go skittering across the ground. A secondary case with a secure latch (or super-strong magnetic closure) fixes that.

Just get a cheap silicone AirPods case cover from Temu or AliExpress. It should help protect the case if it gets dropped, and it usually keeps the AirPods from flying out as easily.
