I already have a nice desktop background. But I would like to display a small squared picture superposed on it, randomly selected from a folder. A long time ago, I was able to do this in Snow Leopard, using GeekTool. Is there another app (native for a Silicon Mac) that could do this, in Ventura?

According to a Reddit post, GeekTool still works on Silicon Macs. I have no experience using it, so I can't say for sure.
