The specs say it has an XLR to jack cable. I assume it has a built-in XLR connector and a cable that goes from XLR to 1/4" phone jack. If so, then you will probably want to get an female XLR > male XLR cable for your interface, which should be easy to find in most cities.

But really, what kind of quality do you expect from £3.25 ($5.10 USD) microphone?

It said it has Connection XLRM so it would come up with XLR Male jack which would be suitable for the audio interface, isn't it? Actually, I would spend more on a condenser mic for recording later on.
Oh, I think I've got a Avid M-Audio Fast Track. But not the Fast Track Pro..

The Fast Track is basically the same, with one less input, if youre only going to put one mic into it, you dont need the Pro. Sorry for the confusion though.

But there isn't a 1/4" mic port in Fast Track. Also, the spec for Fast Track is 48Hz while Fast Track Pro is 96kHz.

Do you think this would be suitable?

Is this audio interface good? The price and spec are quite attractive!

I have been asking for a seller advice for an entry level audio interface, which is Focusrite Scarlette 2i2 £119, is it a good interface at this price?

Hi there, I think The Fast Track is okay. I leave it here with me, hehe.

This should work fine (no idea what the sound quality would be like, but it should work, as in function with any standard interface). Seems like it has an XLR cable (possibly terminated in a 1/4 inch jack), but either way, XLR and 1.4 inch are both standard audio cables. And if your interface doesn't have the "right" connector, you can always buy a cheap adapter. Either way, should work fine!

Hi, I am looking for an cheap audio interface for basic vocal recording and kaorake.
I have heard Avid M-Audio Fast Track Pro and Tascam US-122MKII are the good choices for a beginner to have. But I have found something even more cheaper and it is the Behringer U-CONTROL UCA202 USB Audio Interface plus Art Tube MP Original Tube Mic Preamp 48V Phantom Power.
Which one would be better? Is there any more choice than that?

IF you have to use it for recording then the minimum ADC dynamic range should be 96 dB and the minimum DAC dynamic range should be 110 dB.

Hi there!

I made great experience with Mbox by Protools and also Lexicon Omega. The Lexicon has 4 Input Channels which can be used simultaneously which is pretty cool. When it was first shipped it also came with a great lexicon reverb plugin which was awesome for vocal recordings.
Maybe that's something worth to check...

Cheers,
KenAudio
