Maybe System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts (Mac OS X 10.6) can help you?

Looking for app showing all hot keys

Thanks so much for your reply. I was aware of this, however I guess what I'm looking for is something which will tell me a bit more, for example, which hot keys are being used in all my apps, including third party.

    Again, thanks for your help!

There is an app somewhere that, when you press a keyboard shortcut, brings up all the available shortcuts for that app. I am completely blanking on the name of the app.

I had to remove it because it crashed Firefox all the time, but as soon as I remember I'll get back to you with it.

EDIT: Here it is. It's called KeyCue
