Looking for app that controls what is in the multitask bar

Had an app that would remove the apps that were not really running but just showing history and it would let you stop the ones that were running in the background.

Well updated my phone and for the life of me can't remember what that was.

Any help?

SwitcherMod (incorporating RemoveRecents) and SwitcherPlus are the two that come to mind. I've used both but now I'm using SwitcherPlus. Check out this comparison:

That will remove apps that are running, but I got the impression that the OP was looking for more functionality and control over how the multi-task bar works. I use Remove Background in addition to SwitcherPlus.

Thanks! Tried SwitcherPlus and isn't the one but trying SwitcherMod and think that might be it.
