I have seen many photos online of the rMB next to other MacBooks but was hoping I could get some new comparison shots. Really interested in comparing the new rMB vs the 11 and 13 air. Interested in overall size and screen size. Any photos are greatly appreciated!

I realized you asked for comparisons to the Macbook Air models, but if you're interested I unboxed and compared the new Macbook to the retina MBP 15.4", iPad Air 2, iPhone 6+, and Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 in my video, I already posted the link, so I'm just linking to that post below:

Here's mine, next to my old 13" MacBook Air.

I'm a bit surprised most if not all the comparison pictures out there are with the 13'' Macbook air....i assume ppl would compare it with the 11'' Macbook Air instead...

looking for photos 11,6 Air next to a 12inch retina MacBook

Would love to see some photos of a 11,6 Macbook Air next to a 12 inch retina Macbook.

Anyone?

thanks!

It does look beautiful, I'll grant you that. I wished they added at least a second USB port.

The 1" less makes a big difference. I think 12" would be too small for me.

Go into the store and find out. I thought the same thing, but nope. The screen dwarfs the 11" Air, which I always thought was too small. It's only .04" bigger...but it has Retina, ability to scale resolutions, and a 16:10 ratio. Not to mention how beautiful the display is in general.

I posted this in another thread but here it is again. Maybe next time I'll do it in daylight. 12" is on left. 11" is on right.
