I used to play lot of point and click games, but I haven't much of those type of games lately.
I was wondering what you suggest? I got bored with some recent games that came out.

Like you, i love old adventure games. Looking at my iPad right now, I have Gemini Rue, which is awesome. All the games from Wadjeteye are great. Space Age, Ghost Trick, The Guides, The Trace & Agent A are great variants of point and click adventures. The Broken Sword and Lucas Arts games are on iOS.

If you like text adventure games, try The Lost Treasures of Infocom or Frotz.

Yeah I beaten Gemini rue...excellent game. I'll try other games you suggested. Thanks!

Monkey Island 2
Beneath a Steel Sky
Flight of the Amazon Queen (all are on iOS)

As soon as i got my iPad up and running the first thing i did was get these.

Wadjet Eye games are indeed fantastic. They have even more games for Mac. The Broken Sword series and Lucas Arts games (the remasters by DoubleFine) are of course obligatory classics. They recently released Day of the Tentacle.

Some suggestions:
– Machinarium (a bit heavy on puzzles, but very beautiful)
– Syberia series (though check out some previews, not everyone’s taste)
– Dracula series (by Microids)
– Edna & Harvey: The Breakout (kind of disturbing o_O)
– Deponia series
– The Longest Journey (there are sequels, though not for iOS yet)
– Lost Horizon

Not sure if this counts, but I really like them:
Dragon Fantasy
Dragon Fantasy: The Black Tome of Ice
Lifeline
Out There: Ω Edition
Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery
Eat Sheep
