does anyone know where i can find this? i want to see if i can get a newer version of tls running in it so i can access all of the sites (macrumors included) that don't work in the old version of tls (not making any promises though, as i've never worked with mac development before, although i have tons of experience in other languages)
i looked on the old tenfourkit google code page but all i could find is a patch which is supposed to be applied against the old webkit source, but i can't find it anymore, the webkit site's downloads only go back to high sierra
if anyone has this source or knows where i can get it, please let me know. it would be most appreciated :)

I was never able to find it either. All links are dead. Maybe ask Cameron if he still has it archived locally? I did find safari 4 source however, which is what Tiger came with iirc. I would think it'd build without modifications since it's not a backported safari 5 like TigerKit was.

Edit: And here's safari 3 source just in case i'm wrong. ;)

Cheers

If what you're looking for is to implement later https protocols in safari and other webkit-based browsers you'll have to start with the security framework; Safari and nearly anything *mac* that can load webpages using the system built-in webkit (even some that don't) rely on the security framework for https. Webkit only does the rendering.

Leopard-webkit's sourceforge project has build instructions for security here (looking badly outdated) that at least should have uses for reference.

yeah, this seems like a lot of work, haha. :p
i may have to postpone this for a later date, i don't even know objective-c yet (i figured i would learn as i went but this seems like a bad first project to go head deep into without even knowing the language yet)
