Looking for padded sleeve suggestions for my 12” PowerBook

Hey y’all. I recently picked up a nice 12” PowerBook and I would like suggestions on a padded sleeve type case that would fit it (11” x 9” x 1.2”). Extra points if it has a pocket to hold the power supply.

Good suggestion but it’s much larger than what I want. However, i ended up finding out that 11” iPad cases are often the right size.

I saw that too but they (at least the ones I looked at on Amazon) didn’t look like they could fit your charger.

For time-period correct sleeves, I bought some a few years ago and/or receiving them by buying second-hand Powerbooks/iBooks.

And yet another one added to the herd

Since using my PATA SSD + Newertech battery equiped 12" Powerbook G4 as a daily driver on my train commutes, I was on the lookout for the same machine with the same specs so I would have a spare I can leave at home and experiment on ( next on the todo list Gentoo PPC ) . Found one for 55 EUR...

What are you using to carry/protect your 12" Powerbook G4 ?

Since swapping my MBA 11" for a Powerbook G4 12" , it has now become my companion on my daily commute to work and back with the train. However finding a perfect fitting solution to transport it , hasn't been easy so far. I'm a big fan of Incase, somehow they seem to make the perfect laptop bag...

Forgot to ask - which one did you go with?

I found this cheap thing which fits the 12" Powerbook snugly; it has some edge padding but not as much as the similar bag padded sleeve I use for my 16" PB.

The pocket will even hold the power brick if you separate the parts.



Also, for fans of brittle 90s plastic it's the correct size for a PB Duo, but it won't fit the smaller but thicker Powerbook 2400.

Nice! I Like that a lot. Love the spot for the charger and that would fit perfectly in a messenger bag or backpack with the orientation of the handle.
