Looking for simple video editor

Something a bit more advanced than iMovie maybe around $10-20 or free haha, let me know what you guys use. Just looking to create some simple skate videos.

Here are a couple I've seen recommended, but I've not used them.

DaVinci Resolve offers a free version. It would be helpful to know what you features you want to see that you're not finding in iMovie.
