Looking for software to wipe my machine

Hi all

I just bought a new iMac and want to give the old one (iMac G5 2006) to a friend.

Looking for a programme that will safely remove all my stuff - docs, photos etc.

Any suggestions?

Boot from the install disk and open Disk Utility from Menu bar and erase the HD with it. Then reinstall OS X
