Is there an app comparable to Downie for Mac, that is as easy to use on the iPad? I don't mind paying for such on iPad. I rather not use some app with built in ads.

Thanks for the reply. I just looked and the Developer website is gone and the app hasn't been updated in a year. Have you used the app?
No. Your original post got me curious as to what Downie is - I don't use Macs - and I came across it.
I am wanting to download YouTube videos on my iPad. Downie is great with that, along with other sites. I haven't found a good app, yet.
Got it. I do my download on a Win11 laptop using a freebie, 4K Video Downloader. Even the free version supports downloading 4K YT videos; I then copy over to my iPads what I want.
