looking for "spotlight" coloured light font

Hi, I was thinking about t-shirt designs, and thought that a font that is made up of spotlights would be neat... specifically, one made up of differently coloured lights (think the logo for The Killers, but with colours). Does anyone have any suggestions? Thankx.

Couldnt you just find a font like The Killers & then just take it into Illustrator or Photoshop and color different 'bulbs'. Or, You could apply a really rough gradient, like so it doesn't flow into the next color but sharply change, to the text.

Um... yeah. But it's not for The Killers. Like, I want to write something original...

Fonts dont come in colors, just black and clear. You have to do all font effects yourself.
