I’m looking for the ** STANDALONE ** Adobe trial installer .DMG for InDesign CS4 (and to a lesser degree the one for Illustrator CS4).
The InDesign CS4 trial download was named:
"ADBEIDSNCS4_LS1.dmg"
A disc image, or the installer .PKG / .DMG from the install media would also be just fine.
I have some old documents I am wanting to refresh. I am working on a way to permanently bypass the need for the Adobe activation server. I have successfully been able to do this with Photoshop CS4. I want to get it working with InDesign CS4 (and to also Illustrator CS4 for the completeness I guess).
I have my activation information for both Photoshop CS4 and InDesign CS4, so I just need the trial installer as it came from the Adobe download server. Adobe appears to have pulled the standalone installers (all discontinued ones actually) from their servers long ago. Used to be you could get the individual CS4 trial installers directly from Adobe. But they no longer have them available, as they are now focused on their subscription model.
To be clear, I am NOT looking for pirated copies. I have the activation info, I just need the standalone installers for each program. I have not found a legitimate source for the individual installers despite a serious amount of internet searching.
And I am aware that CS4 programs are old and won't run on modern Macs. These will be reinstalled on a machine running Mavericks.
And I am NOT looking for any suite (Design, Web, etc.) packages. Just the ** STANDALONE ** trial installers as once available from Adobe servers.
