I got an iMac yesterday (the one in my sig). I have given up on Wintels completely. I had an ATI TV Wonder 650 combo usb on my wintel and liked it. I see that there is a version of the same tuner for Mac. I have read that the software that comes with it is horribly. Could someone point me in the direction of a decent tuner with decent software for the Mac? It would be greatly appreciated.

I have an elgato EyeTV Hybrid that I really like, coax, svideo, RCA audio inputs...

it does get a little hot from time to time though...

Ati Tv Wonder Hd 650 Usb For Mac

I am going off to college and my room mate is bringing a 42" tv, which we are going to use as our one tv. I just bought a new Imac so My plan was to buy a coax cable splitter then get some extra cable then run one to my Imac and one to the tv so If one of us wanted to watch something instead of what was on THE tv we could at the same time. I just bought the ATI TV wonder hd 650 usb mac unit thinking it will not just record tv but let me watch live tv different than what is on "THE TV". Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I couldn't find any download to make this even work. Trying to also hook up the ATI TV Wonder 650 Combo USB HDTV tuner and EyeTV 3 doesn't support it yet it does with the older ATi TV Wonder USB 2.0 device. Where is ATI tvPortal ?? Good grief!
