    Hey MacRumor Forums!!

Im a newbie to this site, to programming and macs so I'm basically new to it all! :L

I want to start programming apps for iPhone, iPad and iPod but reaslised I would need a mac to do this as I only have a PC at home.
I'm not really earning a living at thhe moment so I need to get a cheap mac but one which works smoothly.

As I said I am a newbbie so I have no idea what I need to run SDK on but I did find this on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200536012142&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

    Any thoughts?

That should work. As long as the Mac is Intel based and has run Snow Leopard, you should be able to program very smoothly. The power of the Mac is considerably faster than an iPhone 4, so the simulator would still be faster than the iPhone on the cheapest Macs out there.

That Mac might be a little slow, but it should still work for what you need it to. If your budget allows, a refurb current-gen Mac Mini may provide better performance...

    Best of luck either way!
