I'm switching to Firefox because Safari has been having problems connecting to websites, but I've become addicted to the 'Top Sites' function. Is there any addon for Firefox that does what Top Sites does - with the site thumbnails that update themselves etc?

Thanks!

Hello PurpleCliff, I too, like the Top Sites feature on Safari. The FoxTab Extension will give you that feature for top sites as well as currently open and recently closed tabs. Plus, you can change the color. you can also make it CoverFlow Style and change between portrait and landscape. If you want CoverFlow for your bookmarks, you can use the Bookmark Previews extension.
