Does anyone know what would be the best recommendation for a usb-c wired mouse for my MBP M1?

I wish to use less adapters on my MacBook as possible.

Magic Mouse is not accepted as it requires charging and not a big fan of wireless mouses.

If you don't have any particular requirements like gaming just get any simple office mouse. They usually work just fine and in 2022 you should be able to find something with native USB-C. If you don't there's always Amazon.

There probably aren't many mice sold with USBc connection plugs.

I would suggest a USBa mouse, with one of these added at the end:
I would advise against the "tiny" adapters (like the one shown in reply 3 above) because most (all?) of these will "block" access to an adjacent USBc port when plugged into a Mac.

The cable matters adapter will just "add a little length" to the end of the existing mouse connection cable. And it won't block adjacent ports.

Several USB-C wired mice on the market are compatible with the MacBook Pro (MBP). Some popular options include the Apple Magic Mouse 2, Logitech MX Master 2S, and Anker Vertical Ergonomic Optical Mouse. These mice can be connected to your MBP using a USB-C to USB-A cable, as the MBP does not have a built-in USB-C port for peripherals. It's worth noting that the USB-C mouse will work with any computer or device that supports USB-C connections and also has a USB-C to USB-A port.
You can check online retailers like Amazon, CDON, Fyndiq, Soldfy, or Apple Store for these products.

What was the last wireless mouse you used?

If your negative experiences was due to a low quality mouse. Please consider trying a Logitech MX Master 3s. You can get the MX Master 3 (previous version) at a discounted price. There is a smaller version called the MX Anywhere.

It has great battery life and it’s rechargeable. The lag is nonexistent. The huge pro is that you don’t need adaptors.
