Hey guys, so I'm looking to buy an old mac pro just to use as a server and maybe play a little warcraft. Ive found this one on kijiji and I'm wondering if 500$ is a fair/decent price for it. (got him down from 700$)
-2 X Intel Xeon 2.66 GHz
-8 Gigs DDR2 667 MHz RAM
-ATI hd radeon 5770
-500 Gig Seagate 7200 RPM
-5 X USB
-2 X Firewire 800
-2 X Firewire 600
-1 X DVI video out
-2 X Mini display port out
-2 X Ethernet
-2 X Line input
-1 X Line output
-1 X headphone out

From what I've gathered its the first gen Pro from 2006, with a bit of customization (Ram and GPU).
Let me know what you guys think any help is appreciated

Stay very far away. $500 is way too much for that machine if you are in the US. I would also attempt to stay away from a 1,1 if you have the option. There are similar spec machines in my area (DC Metro Area) that are selling for $300, you can even buy that model from an online refurbisher for less than that. I won't go into why the 1,1 has its downfalls, as I'm sure many other users will tell you, but to answer your question, that is NOT a good price.
