    Hey Guys,

Like some of you here, I'm growing s little tired if iOS. It really looks outdated to me and have been considering an android phone. Can anyone recommend one that runs on the latest android - Jelly Bean? Looking to buy one off ebay and sell it once I'm done with my assessment., and don't really want to spend a whole lot on a "test" device. Realistically, if I like what I see, I will purchase either an S3 or Note2 on Verizon.

    Thanks.

    Alan

My answer would've been the Nexus 4 but it still isn't in stock:(

So if you want to test stock Android right now, I would recommend you to get a Galaxy Nexus. You could get the S3 or Note 2 but those don't have stock Android. Samsung uses their own skin on top of stock Android. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but visually it looks different than vanilla Android.

Are you restricted to only using Verizon? I ask because that'll really limit what's available to you. I'd recommend a Galaxy Nexus but preferably a GSM/HSPA model as the version put out for Verizon is generally considered an inferior model. Otherwise, you don't have many options as the JB rollout is still in its infancy to existing devices (still not available for most S3), pretty much limiting you to newly released devices (Nexus 4, Note II, One X+, upcoming Droid DNA) and those won't be cheap.

Nexus 4, Note II, Droid DNA, the rumored Galaxy SII Plus (will come with JB).
