Unfortunately, this is going to be a difficult exchange for you-there's a pretty significant price differential in the two disks.

Genuine SL disks are still available from Apple for $20. Leopard routinely brings $40-60 on secondary markets.

(BTW, all Leopard disks are universal-even "gray" disks).

bunnspecial thanks for the insight. Is a "gray" disk a out of market aka:gray version?
The gray discs are specific to a given computer and won't install on other models without some convoluted work to bypass Apple's restriction.

It's not hard to bypass, you make an image of the DVD using DU and then edit a file to change the supported models to include yours, then burn to a DVD/image to HDD partition or USB

Thanks for the info on "gray" disks, I learn something new each day!

To be clear there isn't a need for the disc because I have a bootable backup made w/SuperDuper. It's all about how the Leopard box would look sitting beside the G5 instead of the Snow Leopard box.

Now that's really easy, find yourself a good picture of the Leopard image, maybe online , print it out and paste it to the box in question.
Now you've got a non-functional visually correct prop.
