I'm using Hugin, a panoramic photo stitching program, to try to stitch some large picts together, each one is about 12X17" and there are 3 of them. When I use smaller versions of the same pics, I've gotten a final product about 3x15" in dimension. But when I use the full size pics, for some reason only one of the pictures appears as the final stitched product, but it's pretty huge, about 536MB where the original pictures ran about 2MB each. Is there some limit on size or memory that is messing this process up? The other issue is that I want to print them and the original dpi is about 300, but the final product is about 72. If I ever want to try to print something like this the higher resolution would be desirable. I've looked through the Hugin prefs but don't see a option for that.
Looking for Hugin help! Thanks.
