The policy is that only the person who the event directly effects should say, in case they want to keep it private. I'm sure the poster in question will be reading this thread, so if they do want to say they will.
In the meantime, just take it as a bit of fun. The 'tar games are more inspired by events than anything, but the game itself is meant to be open to all.
