Looks like no iPhone 8...it will be a 7s.

That's expected, at least for me.
I will die for iPhone 7s Silver or Matte Black when show up. OMG.
Or better to say iPhone 7 S-pecial.
Than Apple Store will sell only iPhone 6s-6s Plus, 7s-7s Plus and SE or replacement for SE.
Even if only better camera, better screen but same CPU and memory will mean something.
Than Apple will improve weakest field.
But I would not surprise if they show up with even better CPU.
But most important to improve weak spots.
People constantly cry for better screen, darker black, shiner white, bigger resolution...etc etc...

Not when he phrases his news the way he does. He cleverly (and properly) leaves himself an out when talking about possible new features.

iPhone blue renders. 4-speaker iPhone. Borderless display.

I actually like his videos, but he's no more accurate than any other decent YouTuber out there.

Oh it's easy to spread phone rumors. You could say "yes, I am right about no headphone jack" or "sorry, no wireless charging this year, but it was just a rumor." I rather trust Kuo as a source than run of the mill phone Youtubers.
 
At this point no one besides Apple knows what is going to be released next year. Everything at this point is speculation and rumor. We'll just have to wait and see what develops in the months to come.

Since the iPhone three there has always been an S model year after a new model. This is not deviate and since the three. There's no reason to believe that it will.

Since the iPhone three there has always been an S model year after a new model. This is not deviate and since the three. There's no reason to believe that it will now

That's correct but of course doesn't stop folks to speculate about the coming model. Next year some people expect something special for the 10th anniversary of the iPhone. At least that's my impression from reading through the forums here.

I really don't care . I am waiting for the 8S .

Personally I don't care much what the iPhone is going to be called. Every two-ish years I would like to get something new, and the current models are very nice already, in my opinion.

I will believe it when apple says it but I will agree with him on the 7S and no 8. It would be quite interesting or shocking to see apple pass up and S release and go straight to an 8 version. While I am enjoying my SE I don't see any need to jump on any flagship from apple for a while for my needs. Unless they decide to update the SE with a tad more screen and more memory for around the same price.

I'm not saying whether they will or won't put out a 7S or an 8. I was commenting to the person who said Jaime Rivera has never been wrong.
