Hey, what's with all the hate people?

Three things you ought to notice:
1. It uses the magnetic latch
2. Its a single button touchpad
3. Black back-lit keyboard

It has the room to fit in the 8800M GT thus the thickness. If it weren't for the thickness and borders around the screen, I think it is not bad a design and looks pretty close to an MBP.

Don't be hatin', you may never know that the new MBP will turn out to be somethin' like this. Remember the MBA naysayers?

Not bad for a Windows laptop, but the Alienware designs have gone too over-the-top lately. If I were a leet seventh grader, that would be the coolest thing ever. Maybe the form factor can be stolen for the MacBook Lead.

I imagine so. Kudos to them; it's a good way to preserve one button form with two button functionality.

Agreed its thick but I think its cool looking. Anyone notice the bottom pic of the computer? They have a vent for the harddrive. Ive never seen that before on a laptop, thats pretty nifty

All kidding aside, that is a pretty good looking pc. I would take a mbp over that any day (looks-wise and os-wise at least...). Mbp definitely needs a hardware update, just so we can finally say EVERYTHING about a mac is better than a pc. besides that, I believe apple is doing pretty well!
