My Mid 2012 MacBook Pro retina 15"has a hinge that is extremely loose when in one spot, it wiggles, you can say, but isn't so weak at the point the screen would just close, I tried the new mid 2015 MacBook Pro, and the hinge is nice and smooth. I brought to 5th avenue Apple Store during March break, and they said there's nothing wrong with it. Brought to Masonville mall (London ON) and fixed the misaligned lid and I think that's when the hinge got really bad, I didn't tell them because I don't live near there, plus I need the computer for homework and notes, so I couldn't bring it in. Has anyone else have a creaking hinge too.
