loose firewire port? anyone

my firewire 800 port seems really loose...
it doesn't take much jostling for it to come off all together

im worried because i plan to do live music with my powerbook
and i have my sound card coming out of the firewire port...

one slip over the cable
comes deafening silence
followed by tomatoes for sure...

does anyone else have this problem?
should i bring it in?
bring it back?

yeah i got the opposite problem with my ti the firewire port is so tight but a rule of thumb dont keep plugin and unplugging stuff i am useing a firewire hub to save wear and tear on the actual port 🙂

if its under warranty have apple reaplace it to avoid future problems !!!
