Hi and thanks for any help anyone can offer beforehand. I have a secondhand Macbook Pro, 3 years old, that is having repeated kernel panics. The folks at the Apple store checked it out and told me I had a third party logicboard so I was referred to an authorized center. The tech there believes I have RAM slots that do not house the RAM securely. I've already sunk a fair amount into this older machine and don't want to replace the logic board. Does anyone know of any fixes I can try or that I might ask a repair person to try?
