You're not going to notice a difference between 10mbps and 30mbps ON YOUR IPHONE. Seriously people, get a grip.
True, but it'd be nice to at least hit 10 on lte. This was taken at LAX two days ago.

Apparently it's not arriving until spring next year.Did you get any info about LTE in the Valleys?

It's the last day of my data plan and I had over 100 mb left over to kill, so I decided to give it a shot.
I'm in Culver City... which is pretty close to LAX and I just got 17.72Mbps Down and 7.20Mbps up... not too shabby.
It has really felt fast the last couple of days. It's only been a week for me. But this thing zips.
I have HORRIBLE LTE speeds on AT&T here in LA. Just look at this. When I start up SpeedTest it takes several seconds to even find the closest server! My friends with Verizon have at least 20+ MBPS. When I switch off LTE and go to 4G my speeds are better - LOL! A lot of the time it just ZEROS out with no ping and 0 download speed.
What can I do? Complain to AT&T? Any chance it will improve?
Did you also only have one bar? LA is a known problem market for AT&T LTE, along with Chicago. Expect it to greatly improve when they deploye more spectrum there by 2014. And I'm not saying that its going to take them over a year to fix it, Just saying by 2014 they said all markers should have more spectrum and widespread coverage throughout the entire network.
I have one bar sometimes, otherwise have more. I just had issues getting any signal at lunch with my friend. Will it do any good to complain to AT&T? Any apps or something that can boost my signal?![]()
AT&T: i'm rocking an awful 7.5mbps down / 2.5 up at 1am when i normally/just got 3.5mbps down / 3mpbs up on my '4g' 4s. not too happy. how are the rest of you doing?
Just went into an AT&T store in West Hollywood and the associate told me to TURN OFF LTE around this area. LOL. Guess I will have to. He told me AT&T was working on it. Still jealous of my Verizon buddies with LTE around me. Seems like this is just a West Hollywood area issue. Oh well.![]()
Verizon easily takes the cake when it comes to LTE speeds in Los Angeles -- same goes for us SoCal data users as well:
