Hey guys, I am trying to encode some episodes of a TV show, but the audio keeps dropping after a little while. It happens in several episodes (but only a few), and there doesnt seem to be a pattern as to when the audio drops out. I am using the same settings in HB as I am with other episodes that work fine. I'm stumped, any ideas why this is happening and/or what I can do to fix it?

    Thanks!

Sometimes it happens if the DVD is scratched or contain bad blocks (made for copy protecti0n) that the ripper cannot deal with. I have 1 movie that I cannot get audio to encode...

But I think it's more of a ripping problem then an encoding problem.

What version of HB are you using? I remember reading about some audio dropout issues in the .8.x series, but never encountered them myself... the 0.9 build supposedly fixed that though, so if you're not using it, try it out! (It's worth the upgrade either way). :)
